1.       “I’ve played basketball for as long as I could walk, as part of the St. George grade school and junior high teams before joining the Warrior family as a shooting guard. It’s been a great decision with, of course, winning the 3-point contest being the highlight so far.”
Age: 16
School: St. Michael High School (That was a quote from Jordan Long)

2. “(Theodore) Roosevelt said, ‘Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.’ Our antagonist wrestles with us, sharpening our strength and nerve; in essence, hardship only makes us stronger. You must be willing to stick your neck out, to take risks, to accomplish great things.”(that was a teen take from Nick doglas)

3.  “It helps me with school and all the stuff that makes my life stressful. Whether I’m in the water or on stage or just playing the ukulele in my room, it helps me relax a lot and helps me realize my problems aren’t that big.” (a teen take from Michele Moore)

Claude Monet was born on 14 November 1840 on the fith floor of a hotel..He was the second son of Claude Adolphe Monet and Louise Justine Aubrée Monet, both of them second-generation Parisians. On 20 May 1841, he was baptized in the local parish church. As Oscar-Claude, but his parents called him simply Oscar. His father wanted him to go into the family grocery business, but Monet wanted to become an artist. His mother was a singer.

On the first of April 1851, Monet entered Le Havre secondary school of the arts. Locals knew him well for his charcoal caricatures, which he would sell for ten to twenty Francs. Monet also undertook his first drawing lessons from Jacque-fracoi, a former student of Jacques-Louis. On the beaches of Normandy in about 1856/1857, he met fellow artist Eugène boudans who became his mentor and taught him to use oil paints. Boudin taught Monet outdoor techniques for painting. Both received the influence of Johan Barthold.
On 28 January 1857, his mother died. At the age of sixteen, he left school and went to live with his widowed childless aunt, Marie-Jeanne Lecadre.

Monet died of cancer on 5 December 1926 at the age of 86 and is buried in a church cemetery. Monet had insisted that the occasion be simple; thus only about fifty people attended the ceremony.
His home, garden and waterlily pond were bequeathed by his son Michel, his only heir, to the French Academy of Fine Arts in 1966. Through the Fondation Claude Monet, the house and gardens were opened for visit in 1980, following restoratio. In addition to souvenirs of Monet and other objects of his life, the house contains his collection of Japenese wood cuts The house is one of the two main attractions of his life. Which hosts tourists from all over the world.
